I’ve been branching out and meeting new bloggers. It feels like 7th grade all over again when I started a new school. My Mom was encouraging me to meet new people so I wouldn’t sit alone at lunch. (That story ends with me befriending the oldest seven grader, who liked to eat cookies with a spoon.)
Unlike 7th grade, I am finding everyone to be warm and friendly. And my efforts have been rewarded — in a big way — 3 awards! So thank you Meg from Meg’s a Mommy for being so generous.
Next week, I will announce my recipients (The “week has gotten away from me” and providing the proper recognition is trumped by a major cereal spill in the kitchen). I just wanted Meg to know how much I appreciated her support. (I can’t wait to go tell my Mom!)
Hi there, just letting you know that I am a member of MomDot and I am now following your blog. I enjoyed looking over your blog, very nice!
Stay away from people who eat cookies with spoons. They are weird.Congrats on the awards!
HOORAY for awards! Any haiku writing, has friends who eat cookies with spoons, anything for a good party Momma is award worthy in my book. I was the shy girl in the corner with her crinkled copy of the Hobbit that the boys used to grab and run away with in the 7th grade. Glad to see I've come so far, right???
Blogging is exactly like 7th grade (or 10th, in my case) in a new school! Are they going to like me? Will they ever talk to me? Oh God! What if I have to eat lunch alone? Then to secure your new status in school, you walk out of the bathroom with the back of your skirt tucked into your underwear. (True story.) Fortunately, I have also met a lot of nice people in my short time doing this! And I love your blog! What a great bit of information. I now have an official party source! Looking forward to reading! Thanks for following!
